Welcome Back is an upcoming Indian action comedy
film directed by Anees Bazmee, and produced by Firoz
Nadiadwala and co-produced by F M Khan Swiss
Entertainment. It is a sequel to the 2007 film Welcome,
featuring anensemble cast that includes Nana Patekar, Anil
Kapoor and Paresh Rawalreprising their roles from the
prequel. John Abraham and Shruti Haasan are new additions
to the lead cast. The film is scheduled for a worldwide release
on 4 September 2015

Production
Actors Nana Patekar, Paresh Rawal and Anil Kapoor will reprise their roles from the prequel. However, in this film John Abraham is playing the lead role rather than Akshay Kumar, although he would be playing a different character. Katrina Kaif, who played the female lead in the original movie was also replaced by Sonakshi Sinha however she soon dropped out citing date issues. Following Sinha's exit from the film, Asin was selected to play the female lead, but due to date clashes she opted out and was replaced by Shruti Haasan. Debutante Sakshi Maggo from Delhi was given a role in the film. Sara Loren will perform an item song.
